you know i like my chiken fried, cold beer on a friday night, pair of jeans that fit just rigt

i was just thinkin. i was trying to figure out what to blog on and i had a few ideas. i thought about writing about the difference between highschool english and college neglish. that led me to thinking about research papers for some reason. then while i was thinking about research papers, end noting came to my mind. then i realized how stupid i think end noting is. why do we end note? to give credit to the people who wrote that piece. i have several problems with end noting and plagerism. both i find ridiulous concepts. i wonder what people wrote information down that they found out and actually care if you rewrite it word for word. and if their are people like that in the werld wth? they have nothing better to do then to get pissy with someone copying what they had to say? good oviously what they had to say is good enough that someone else wnats to use it isnt that good enough? ican understand if someone tried to take that material and make money off of it. but for kids in highschool and college to get failed grades for not end noting seems a little far stretched to me. see it seems so far stretched because you can take someone elses sentence and manipulate it into being your own sentence simply by changing a few werds. just saying ya i see that if you try and sell someone elses werk thats wrong but if you are just using someone elses werk to support your werk, endnoting should not be neccessary

  1. I agree Rodney I dont think that people should get failing grades for plagerism. The reason for that is because if they are using it to support something then why should they get into trouble for it. If you aer not using it to make money there should be no way that you are getting into trouble for it. Although i dont think other people might agree with us.

  2. Rodney, When you write about just changing someone else's ideas by a few words? Well, that's still plagiarizing. Plagiarizing is very important to anyone who creates something. Stealing someone's ideas and calling them your own is not only cheating, but totally inauthentic.

Do us a favor and write your blogs in Microsoft Word first (so you can spellcheck, etc.) and then copy and paste them into your blog. I don't want your ideas to get lost in between typos.

  3. really i dont think it is that important to people. unless someone was using the information to make money then who cares? example. i discovered a new animal and desribed it in a book. then a different person likes what i have to say and writes it to point out one of many species still being found on the earth and desribes it. i would be flattered someone used my information to show other people. only reason i would be pissed is if that person tried to sell that shit. consider it a compliment for someone using ur information to back up there own theorys, not cheating
