cheese

This weekend I had a bit of trouble from the game warden. I really don’t want to go into great detail on everything that happened but while thinking about it, it gave me a great topic to discuss with the class room. My argument is that hunters should not have to tag deer. Hear me out. The state does not own the deer on these lands. I had this discussion with the game warden and he said what you have to understand Rodney is that the conservation department would have no money if deer were not tagged. He said if the conservation department had no money, then all the trees would be chopped down and there would be no more hunting, the rivers would be polluted and ethics would no longer apply when taking deer. Well he has a point but really tagging deer is a hassle anyway and I have a solution to his argument. I don’t know if everyone knows this but in order to hunt every other type of game certain stamps are needed in order to kill those game. Ducks and geese you must have a Federal and state stamp to shoot birds. I realize that hunters already pay for habitat stamps to shoot deer ad that the deer tags are an extra source of income for the state. But instead of forcing the public to pay for the deer they shoot, why not make the hunters pay more just to be in the woods? If the habitat stamp had a higher cost such as sixty dollars instead of twenty and hunters would not have to tag deer, I strongly believe that this system would work better. Most hunters only bag one or two deer a year anyway and many don’t even shoot one in the first place. The deer on these lands are over populated anyway.

you burnt bitch, i heard the story

This advertisement paper we are writing is my favorite paper we have written so far. Its ovious why. I enjoy completely what im writing about. I can definately relate to what im saying and im not making up whats being said. Most papers take lots of thinking to come together but i already know alot about this topic which makes writing the paper awfully easy. All the information needed for this paper is on one page, and a little bit is knowledge i already had. Im not going to go as far as to say i wrote a good paper. i know im a rather salty writer, but i will say that i enjoyed writing this paper and it didnt seem like such a chore. My writing may never be acceptable in the eyes of my teachers but when i write papers that the topic im writing about is an enjoyable one to me, it makes writing alot easier. Quite possibly when i write a paper that i enjoy the topic, may be some of my best papers. Revision is definately neccesary on this paper which i already did once from my peer response shit. But with a little effort this could be one of my better papers. Only bad part about writing this paper is that i spent alot of time writing it in the a.m hours which turned out ok i suppose becuase like i said above, i enjoyed writing this paper so it wasnt really that bad.

loved by some, feared by others, shes immortalized, in young mens eyes

I wanted to blog about the public high school system. My buddy, ethan, and I were talking on the phone Friday on my way to work and all we do is talk bull shit. Well I asked him how college was going for him and it seemed to me that his situation was awfully similar to mine. We continued talk about the situation and picked out that the primary cause of our problems came from going to a public school. In college you must be much disciplined and have excellent work ethic. Well as far as I thought, I have great work ethic and good time management. Both of us do I think. Apparently not though. In high school I held a full time job as a dishwasher, went to school, worked on my moms boyfriends farm, and hunted. The only difference is highschool was a joke. Neither me nor ethan ever studied for tests, or did homework outside of school except major projects. And everything worked out. Here I am attempting to hold a full time job, take care of the crops and animals, and also have a social life while going to school. Its not working. College you actually have to study apparently. College expects you to be more involved which I don’t know if they realize is hard to do with so much other shit going on in life. But what I am saying is that had high school prepared us for college better, it would not have come as such a blow when I walked across the bridge and found out what college is all about. Now that times pressed on I’m getting better at time management, but still need improvement. I blame public high schools for this underestimation of college.
